I'm Halie, a romance author with a passion for the ones she loves, reading and writing, and drinking far more caffeine than recommended.

My debut novel, RULES AND PRINCIPALS (Creative James Media, late summer 2027), follows two educators fighting for a Vice Principal position throughout the school year while also fighting their draw to each other.
As a former elementary teacher myself, I am well-versed in not only the ins-and-outs of a teacher’s duties, but in the dichotomy of trying to find that successful work/life balance that the characters face.

RULES AND PRINCIPALS is a fresh and fun story, offering representation to educators who love reading and are hungry to see themselves in stories with relatable characters that they, and everyone else, will want to root for.
